For quite some time I've had a Mettlach #2107 and now realize that it has a faint coating of nicotine from many years ago. What's the best way to clean this up without jeapodizing the glaze or pewter. I a read about 409 on pewter but am unsure if it's OK for the rest of the stein. Thanks!
