Just picked up thie Mettlach stein I assume it to be a student stein on the face of the student is three x banages Dueling wounds? On the back side is written Um tot zu kriegen die Bazillen, Studiert so mancher Tag und Nacht, Ich den auch ein Bazillus macht? My Translater say as follows Around dead to wars the bacillus, studied so some day and night, Isusche mean to satisfy thrist, whether also a bacillus make ????????
