Meeting Minutes Florida Sun Steiners - Saturday, February 2, 2008 Our Winter meeting was held on February 2, 2008 at "The Ambry" Restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale with 32 people in attendance. Judy Stuart was our Guest Speaker and gave a very nice talk on "Steins and Drinking Vessels from Unusual Materials". We welcomed two new members (Harry Magee and Eric Salzano) and two guests. The Show & Tell wine bottles were claimed by Dick Weis (Pottery stein with a silver Gambrinus on the Lid) and Al Schoeder spoke about his Bustle Lady steins. Gary Eichorn also told us about a glass stein he found in Prague this past year. We learned that we have money in the bank. There were five tables of steins on display for sale or trade. Our next meeting will be on Florida's "Left" coast in late March or mid April.
