Meister Steiners Newsletter: Fall 2008

The Mini Convention of 2008 was a great success. And a big THANK YOU goes to everyone that helped make it a memorable occasion. There was a lot of hard work and follow up involved. Special kudos goes to the Swanson’s (all 4) for the wonderful hospitality suite. Our sponsors, HUB CITY Brewing Company and LOUIS GLUNS BEER Inc, contributed an awesome array of beers. I tasted flavors that enriched and educated my palette.

I haven't been around as long as some in the club, so learning about the different types of steins, where and how they originate still is an exciting educational experience. My only wish for the convention is that I could have attended all the seminars.

Everyone seemed pleased with the stein sales, both buyers and sellers.
We came home with 4 additions to Bob’s collection

Now we can start planning on seeing everyone at the International Convention in Las Vegas next summer.

Coming up next is our Christmas Meeting, Sunday December 14th at Klaus Restaurant. The starting time is 2 p.m. and the cost per person is $25.00.
