Uppersteiners of New York State
The Uppersteiners chapter of Stein Collectors International was organized in 1993 for the purpose of meeting those who share the joy of collecting beer steins. We host two meetings a year, which are attended by our 40+ members. Guests are always welcome.
Our meetings are usually held in early Spring and Fall, and are a combination of: Luncheon, Stein Sales & a guest speaker. We welcome new members, and anyone who collects steins may apply for membership. Annual dues are a modest $ 15.00.
Our Fall 2006 meeting was held at the beautiful "Pumpkin Hill Bistro" in Aurora, NY on Sunday October 15th. Our guest speaker was porcelain artist Elizabeth Schaefer, who gave a fascinating talk on hand-painting steins.
Our spring meeting of 2007 is scheduled for May 6th at the Orchard Valley Golf & Country Club in Lafayette, NY.
