Membership of the Gateway Steiners is centered in the St. Louis area with members also in southwestern Illinois, Missouri and
Arkansas. We meet three times a year in members' homes and have a dinner meeting in a restaurant in January.
Most members collect antique German steins but several members' main interest is contemporary steins including the AB steins. Each meeting has a
program focusing on some aspect of stein collecting.

Annual dues are $20. Anyone joining Stein Collectors International, who lives in this area, will be contacted by a chapter member and
will be invited to join the Gateway Steiners.

We also have an annual stein show and sale and invite anyone interested in stein collecting to join us at this show. We will have a
stein display, steins for sale and offer free appraisals.

The St Louis Gateway Steiners have been asked by the Missouri Historical Society to present a show on beer steins on Oct. 14, 2007 as
part of their ongoing exhibit on St Louis Breweries. The show will be from noon to 4:00 pm and will include free verbal appraisals of beer steins.

Our next show is on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the Kirkwood Community Center on 111 S. Geyer in Kirkwood, MO, from 1:00 to 4:00pm.
