The Stein Reference is a research project undertaken by
Chris Wheeler. It is updated and extended regularly, and currently includes the following major sections:
- Potters & Manufacturers of the 19th & 20th Centuries including brief details of each company's history
- Distributors, Finishers, Decorators and Pewterers of the 19th & 20th Centuries, including brief details of each company's history
- Artists & Designers/Modellers of the 19th & 20th Centuries, including information about marks and companies worked for
